Of all places for my car to break down, it happened right in front of Babies R Us. I thought to myself, THANK GOODNESS, I could at least use their mother's lounge in case Jillian awoke and got hungry. Lucky for me, she slept through the whole thing. I broke down at 11 am, and by 11:45 am the tow truck guy was there.
Tim and I were considering a larger car before Jillian even arrived, and this incident above just solidified our decision. We need a practical, RELIABLE car now that we have Jillian. Our desired car would be small crossover SUV like the Honda CRV, Toyota Rav4, or Acura RDX. We are clueless when it comes to SUV's. Lucky for us we are in no hurry. Any suggestions from my blog friends would be appreciated. What kind of car do you mom's drive? Are they roomy enough? What do you like about your car?
Do tell.
I have an MDX, which we bought after going in for the RDX and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteLG ---- nice choice. I fell in love with the RDX, but felt it could be a little too small. The MDX is a gorgeous SUV, and I am glad to see it works as a fucntional family car. Not to mention you probably look like a MILF in that car. :)
ReplyDeleteI bought a Ford Edge before I had my little one. I love it! It's roomy and it gets pretty good gas mileage.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you find out...I am considering a CRV or a santa fe...or an accord....would rather crossover though for size and storage.
ReplyDeleteHonda CRV.....love it! Love all the room and it's my first SUV and I'm not sure I could/want to ever go back to a car
ReplyDeleteHonda CRV's are really nice for a family. I like that it's a little higher off the ground, yet still a 4 cylinder...and very reliable!!
